Jewelry Appraisal

In a professional appraisal report, your valuables will be thoroughly inspected, weighed, measured and described in detail so identifying your jewelry and its value are unquestioned. After inspecting, photographing and measuring all necessary aspects of your jewelry, you will receive a professional physical copy of your appraisal report and an electronic copy sent to your secure email.

Fee Schedule:

Insurance Report Fees:

First item $120.

Each additional item $90.

Most wedding sets $200.

Watches $150

Jewelry items with no gemstones start at $90

These prices vary depending upon the complexity, carat weight and research needed to provide an appropriate appraisal. Your cost will be discussed before work on the item commences.

Estate Fees:  $150 per hour. 1 hour minimum. Billed in 10 minute increments or

$125 for the first item and $90 for each additional. Whichever is lower.

Estates with large quantities of items can be grouped into a lump sum to provide you with the best value for your estate needs.

Consultation Fees: $150 per hour. 1 hour minimum. Billed in 10 minute increments.

Mobile appraisals: $150 per hour billed plus a $50 travel/set up fee for San Diego County. Out of town travel fees will be discussed case by case.

Expert Witness/Litigation Fees: 1/2 day minimum (4 hours) at $150 per hour. Hourly after the 1/2 day minimum.
